It’s so hard to find a good deshi spot in Florida, but this place is an absolute gem. My only regret is that it’s 57 minutes away from my house—yet I still make the drive every Saturday just to enjoy their incredible deshi food. The buffet is a total win: So many item, delicious, fresh, and very reasonably priced. If you’re craving authentic flavors, this is a must-try. Trust me—you can thank me later!
We had an amazing experience at this authentic Bangladeshi restaurant in Orlando, Florida! The buffet was outstanding, full of all the famous Bangladeshi dishes we grew up loving. Every item tasted fresh, flavorful, and truly brought back memories of home. The service and hospitality were exceptional, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We especially loved the instant handmade fresh paratha, which was served hot and perfectly flaky. The dessert options and tea were also fantastic, a perfect way to end the meal. Everything was very reasonably priced, making it even more impressive. Honestly, this was the best Bangladeshi food we’ve ever had in the USA. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors and warm service! 🇧🇩✨
I found Desi Mart while looking for different restuarant on Google maps. Saw it had a Indian and Mexican buffet. 4.9 Star rating. Told my friend Let's meet up for lunch check out this "hole in the wall" buffet I found. (good thing in my book) Desi Mart did not disappoint. At first it's in a 7-11 gas station / Indian market. I let's give it a try! There is quite few dishes to choose from. This is NOT a large buffet, but it's a tasty buffet! The rice was delicious with kick of heat to it. The beef was fall off the bone really good. The chicken dishes were yummy. I ate the Rui or Rohu fish, I liked it but watch for bones of course. Chew slow. 🙂 It had great flavor and not fishy. White flaky meat the seasoning was excellent. The had vegetable samosas were good also. Fresh watermelon and rice pudding for dessert. (Both were great) I can't tell you names if the dishes but I liked them all. I did expect a naan bread, but I was fine without it. The lunch buffet at $12.99 was acceptable price. Dinner price is few bucks more $15.99. You will leave with a full belly. I am always looking for "hole in the wall" restaurants. Desi Mart is about 35 mins away from me... worth the drive if I'm craving authentic Indian food. The two ladies that run the buffet were very nice and welcoming. We had my niece (7) with us, she wanted burger and fries. The ladies made that for her. I had few fries they were really good. I recommend you type Desi Mart into your GPS... Go try their buffet. I was happy with my meal, this is not fancy eatery but honestly I am always looking for different good food options when I'm too lazy to cook for myself. 😁 I will give Desi Mart another 5 Star Review because it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Authentic Indian food buffet. 🙂
Desi Mart – A Flavorful Fusion You Won’t Forget Tucked away like a hidden gem, Desi Mart – Lunch & Dinner Buffet serves up something truly unique: a bold and delicious fusion of Bangladeshi and Latin flavors. It’s not just food — it’s a cultural crossover that works beautifully on the plate. From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone pulls you in — a mix of warm spices, grilled meats, and fresh herbs that instantly make you hungry. The buffet is a feast for the senses: Bangladeshi classics like tender beef curry, biryani, and lentils sit alongside Latin favorites with their own twist — flavorful rice, marinated chicken, and perfectly fried plantains. Every dish feels homemade, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. What really makes Desi Mart stand out is freshness and authenticity. Nothing tastes like it’s been sitting out too long — you can tell the food is made with care and constantly refreshed. The blend of spices is just right — rich, not overpowering — and the combination of Bangladeshi depth with Latin warmth is something you don’t find often. The staff is warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is casual but welcoming. You feel comfortable whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, sitting down for dinner with friends, or just exploring something new. It’s clean, vibrant, and full of positive energy — the kind of place you want to tell people about.
Delicious food and very friendly employees! The selection is good but not expansive! I will go back for sure! You would never know the food is so good when you drive past this place.
I had their lunch buffet today and it was absolutely worth it. I've been looking for authentic Bangladeshi food and I've finally found it here. Their pangash fish curry and beef bhuna tasted like they were made at home. Also, the owner was very nice, made sure we ate well. It was definitely worth the 45 mins drive here. I've never expexted the food to be this good and I'll definitely come back again.
